This magnet features an oyster drawing screen printed in silver mica onto wispy black-clear-white glass. Rare earth magnet is glued to the back for a super strong hold. Magnets will come wrapped with colorful tissue, please let us know if you need a gift box.
Artist Laurie Freivogel designs and makes each piece in her tiny Oak Park studio. Using powdered enamels, designs are screen printed by hand onto colorful sheet glass, then fused in a kiln in multiple firings. Goods are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to avoid dishwasher detergent etching. Laurie’s imagery consists of bold graphics, botanical drawings, pop-culture imagery and icons, and nostalgic city landmarks.
