Hi, I'm Laurie Freivogel, the self-taught glass artist behind Kiku Handmade.  I started Kiku Handmade in the spring of 2004, in a tiny basement studio just outside Chicago, Illinois. I  screen print my artwork using fine glass enamels onto colorful sheet glass, then fuse in a kiln, sometimes in multiple firings. Here on my website, you’ll find contemporary coasters, sophisticated serving pieces, and quirky design and decor, or I can work with you to create custom pieces!
